The Ministry of Defense, under the Uganda Police Jurisdiction Section, conducts periodic Police Recruitment. Typically, recruitment takes place during the first quarter of the year (January – March) or the last quarter (August - November).
Interested and qualified candidates are invited to apply for various positions within the Uganda Police Force. The Inspector General of Police emphasizes that vacancies still exist and encourages suitably qualified Ugandan citizens to apply.
The role of a police officer encompasses enforcing law and order, protecting life and property, and preventing and detecting crime, among other duties assigned by the Inspector General of Police.
Requirements
