The Ahmadu Bello University Teaching Hospital (ABUTH) in Zaria has announced the commencement of admission form sales for the 2024/2025 academic session in its School of Medical Laboratory Sciences program.
This program spans three years and offers comprehensive education and practical training in the field of Medical Laboratory Sciences, culminating in the award of the Special Fellowship of the Medical Laboratory Science Council of Nigeria (FMLSCN).
ABUTH School of Medical Laboratory Sciences Admission Requirements
Aspiring candidates seeking admission to the ABUTH School of Medical Laboratory Sciences must meet the following criteria:
- Hold membership status as an Associate or Member of the Medical Laboratory Science Council of Nigeria (AMLSCN).
- Possess a minimum of one year of post-qualification experience.
- Present an NYSC discharge or exemption certificate.
- Maintain a valid practicing license issued by the Medical Laboratory Science Council of Nigeria.
Application Procedure for ABUTH School of Medical Laboratory Sciences Admission
Interested and eligible candidates can apply for admission by purchasing the application form at the cost of N6,200. The application process is conducted online. Follow the steps below to apply:
Document upload is not necessary; however, ensure all information is correctly filled before submission.

The application deadline is June 14, 2024.
- Visit the official application portal at www.apply.abuth.gov.ng.
- Click on “Sign Up” to create your user profile. (Remember to note your Login ID and Password for future logins).
- Select “Check Forms on Sale” or “Apply Here”.
- Choose your preferred program from the available list and click “Apply”.
- Proceed to generate your Remita Retrieval Reference (RRR) by clicking on “Generate RRR”.
- Payment can be made online or through a bank. Ensure the RRR Number appears on the payment slip before printing.
Upon completing your application, proceed to the "MY FORMS" section on your profile page to print both your form-slip and Transaction-Slip. These documents are essential and must be presented during the entrance exams/interview.
It's important to note that document upload is unnecessary. Simply ensure that all your information is accurately filled in before submitting the application.
