Responsibilities
Teaching and Instruction
- Develop and deliver dynamic course materials for undergraduate and/or graduate programs.
- Employ innovative teaching techniques and technologies to enrich student learning experiences.
- Provide timely feedback and guidance to students to support their academic progress.
- Maintain scheduled office hours for student consultations and academic advising.
Research and Scholarship
- Conduct original research within your field of expertise.
- Publish research findings in esteemed, peer-reviewed academic journals.
- Pursue external funding opportunities through grants and other avenues.
- Present research outcomes at academic conferences and seminars.
Service and Outreach
- Serve on departmental, faculty, and university committees to contribute to institutional governance.
- Engage in ongoing professional development activities to enhance teaching and research capabilities.
- Participate in community outreach initiatives to promote academic and social welfare.
- Mentor and support the academic and professional growth of students and junior faculty members.
Qualifications
Required
- Bachelor’s degree (1st Class/2nd Class Upper), Master’s degree, or Ph.D. from an accredited institution in disciplines including Arts, Management and Social Science, Computing Science, Allied Health Science (Nursing, Public Health), Medical Science, Education, Law, Mass Communication, and others.
- Demonstrated excellence in teaching at the college, polytechnic, or university level.
- Proven ability to conduct and publish high-quality research.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
- Dedication to promoting diversity, equity, and inclusion in academic settings.
Preferred
- Experience with online and hybrid teaching formats.
- Established professional network within academia and related industries.
- Track record of successful grant writing and securing research funding.
- Active membership in relevant professional organizations.
