Job Description:
- Manage all accounting transactions efficiently.
- Prepare accurate budget forecasts to guide financial planning.
- Ensure timely publication of financial statements.
- Oversee monthly, quarterly, and annual closings.
- Report on the financial health and liquidity of the company.
- Conduct audits of financial transactions and documents.
- Uphold financial data confidentiality and conduct necessary database backups.
- Ensure compliance with financial policies and regulations.
- Reconcile accounts payable and receivable promptly.
- Facilitate timely bank payments.
- Compute taxes and prepare accurate tax returns.
- Manage balance sheets and profit/loss statements effectively.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree (B.Sc) in Accounting, Finance, or a relevant field.
- 3 to 5 years of proven work experience as an Accountant.
- Additional certification such as ICAN is a plus.
- Proficiency in accounting software applications.
- Advanced skills in MS Excel.
- Experience with general ledger functions.
- Strong attention to detail and analytical skills.
- Thorough knowledge of accounting regulations and procedures, including GAAP.
