Job Title: Accountant

Job Description:

• Manage all accounting transactions efficiently.
• Prepare accurate budget forecasts to guide financial planning.
• Ensure timely publication of financial statements.
• Oversee monthly, quarterly, and annual closings.
• Report on the financial health and liquidity of the company.
• Conduct audits of financial transactions and documents.
• Uphold financial data confidentiality and conduct necessary database backups.
• Ensure compliance with financial policies and regulations.
• Reconcile accounts payable and receivable promptly.
• Facilitate timely bank payments.
• Compute taxes and prepare accurate tax returns.
• Manage balance sheets and profit/loss statements effectively.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree (B.Sc) in Accounting, Finance, or a relevant field.
• 3 to 5 years of proven work experience as an Accountant.
• Additional certification such as ICAN is a plus.
• Proficiency in accounting software applications.
• Advanced skills in MS Excel.
• Experience with general ledger functions.
• Strong attention to detail and analytical skills.
• Thorough knowledge of accounting regulations and procedures, including GAAP.
