Job Description
International Facilities Services (IFS) Group seeks a Financial Accountant skilled in Financial Accounting, Financial Reporting, Payroll Management, Inventory Management, Procurement, and Accounts Payable and Receivable Management, Banking, and Financing.
Responsibilities
Financial Accounting
- Ensure daily posting of all payment vouchers and proper expense classifications.
- Daily posting of receipts, PO, and primary source documents.
- Enforce daily petty cash reporting and weekly receipts posting.
- Weekly reporting on invoices and acknowledged invoice reports.
- Prepare weekly schedules of cheques raised and cash collected.
- Compile weekly and monthly reports on payables and job orders.
- Generate fixed asset reports monthly, quarterly, and annually.
- Conduct regular stock counts at least once a month.
Branch and Projects Accounts
Weekly Reports
- Cash and cheques lodged into accounts.
- Payment vouchers with supporting documents.
- Petty cash reports.
- Invoice schedule for one-off jobs.
Monthly Reports
- Invoice schedule raised.
- Schedule of outstanding receivables.
- Payments by clients.
- Stock reports: inflow, outflow, and balances.
- Monthly branch audit and stock counts.
- Month-on-month payroll variations.
Financial Reporting
- Timely financial and statistical reports for management and board.
- Maintain integrity of GL.
- Generate monthly, quarterly, and annual P&L and balance sheet reports.
- Reconcile bank statements and post monthly adjustments.
- Update and reconcile intercompany accounts.
Payroll Management
- Deploy and monitor attendance using TAMS or other systems.
- Prepare payroll accurately and timely by the 25th of each month.
- Ensure timely payment of wages and salary communication.
Inventory Management
- Establish and maintain an organized central store.
- Conduct monthly stock counts and set reorder levels.
- Monitor stock and inventory at all locations.
- Maintain bin cards for all items.
Procurement and Accounts Payables Management
- Implement an organized procurement process.
- Set reordering levels and maintain a database of approved vendors.
- Establish optimal purchasing patterns and price lists.
Job Requirements
- Candidates should possess a Bachelor's Degree.
- 5 - 7 years of relevant work experience.
Salary
N200,000 - N300,000 / month
