As part of our ongoing expansion, we are seeking qualified candidates to join our dynamic team. We are currently hiring for the position of Accounting Officer, based in Port Harcourt, Rivers State.
Position: Accounting Officer
Location: Port Harcourt, Rivers
Type: Full-time
Job Description:
- Prepare and record bank deposits and transfers with precision and accuracy.
- Conduct monthly reconciliations of various general ledger accounts to ensure financial integrity.
- Compile and generate quarterly and annual financial reports in compliance with regulatory standards.
- Develop annual depreciation and depletion tax schedules to facilitate tax planning and compliance.
Qualifications and Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
- Proven experience in accounting or finance roles, preferably within the oil and gas industry.
- Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
