Job Summary
This internship offers a unique opportunity to gain practical experience in the daily operations of EngenderHealth. The intern will assist the administrative team in managing office operations, ensuring efficiency, and supporting EngenderHealth Nigeria’s overall administrative functions. By contributing to the administrative team, the intern will play a vital role in enhancing the efficiency and effectiveness of the organization's operations in Nigeria.
Essential Functions
Under the direct supervision of the Administration Manager, the intern will:
- Maintain an organized and efficient office environment, including managing supplies, equipment, and facilities.
- Coordinate office maintenance and repairs to ensure a safe workspace.
- Organize logistics for meetings, workshops, and events, including venue bookings and material preparation.
- Manage travel arrangements for staff, including booking flights and accommodations.
- Maintain accurate records and filing systems for easy access to documents.
- Monitor and manage office inventory, replenishing supplies as needed.
- Support various teams with administrative tasks, such as scheduling meetings and preparing agendas.
- Provide front desk support, handling phone inquiries and welcoming visitors.
- Manage the organization’s general email inbox and routine inquiries.

- Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration, Public Administration, Management, or a related field.

- Completion of National Youth Service and at least one year of working experience.
- Strong organizational and time management skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).

- Proficiency in both written and spoken English.
