Job Title: Administration Officer - NOB
Location: Maiduguri, Borno
Employment Type: Full Time
Job Summary
Contribute to daily planning and delivery of quality, customer-focused, value-for-money administrative services that enable WFP staff in Maiduguri to deliver food assistance efficiently.
Key Accountabilities
- Implement WFP country/regional plans and administrative processes.
- Develop annual plans and contribute to policy improvements.
- Conduct complex data analysis for efficient planning.
- Manage resources effectively and estimate new requirements.
- Build and maintain partnerships with stakeholders.
- Support capacity building of staff and partners.
- Follow emergency preparedness practices.
- Ensure compliance with safety policies.
- Promote environmental sustainability.
- Guide and supervise junior staff.
Qualifications and Experience
- Education: University Degree in Business/Public Administration or related field.
- Language: Fluency in English (level C) and local language.
Desired Experiences
- Minimum three years in Business/Public Administration or relevant fields.
- Experience in administration and staff supervision.
- Strong coordination, networking, and problem-solving skills.
- Experience in humanitarian operations preferred.
Additional/Nice To Have
- Humanitarian organization experience.
- Knowledge of North-East region.
