Job Description
As an Account & Admin Officer, you will play a pivotal role in ensuring the smooth financial operations and administrative functions of our company. Your responsibilities will include:
- Maintaining accurate and daily records of financial transactions to uphold financial integrity.
- Monitoring accounts receivables and payables to ensure timely and efficient transactions.
- Managing office supplies inventory and procurement to support seamless operations.
- Implementing a proper daily filing system within the accounting department for easy retrieval of information.
- Conducting reconciliations of bank statements and ledgers to identify and resolve discrepancies promptly.
- Efficient management of petty cash to facilitate day-to-day financial transactions.
- Providing general administrative support to various departments within the organization to optimize workflow efficiency.
Skills / Education
To excel in this role, you should possess the following qualifications and skills:
- A minimum of an ND in Accounting, Finance, or a related field to demonstrate a foundational understanding of financial principles.
- Strong attention to detail to ensure accuracy in financial records and administrative tasks.
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate with colleagues and external stakeholders.
- Proven experience in accounting and administrative roles, showcasing your ability to handle diverse responsibilities.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite, particularly Excel and Word, to effectively manage financial data and administrative tasks.
