We are currently looking to expand our team and are seeking a qualified Administrative Officer to support a key African Development Bank (AfDB)-sponsored consultancy project based in Kaduna. The ideal candidate will demonstrate exceptional organizational and communication skills and a strong background in administrative support.
Position Title: Administrative Officer
Location: Lagos, with occasional travel to Kaduna
Key Responsibilities
As an Administrative Officer, you will play a critical role in managing office operations and ensuring smooth project execution. Your responsibilities will include:

Office Operations Management:
- Oversee the day-to-day operations of the office, ensuring everything runs efficiently.
- Manage project documentation, including filing, tracking, and ensuring timely access to essential records.

Coordination of Meetings and Schedules:
- Organize and schedule meetings, appointments, and conferences for project stakeholders.
- Act as the key point of contact for communication, ensuring all parties are informed and up to date.

Ensuring Compliance and Policy Adherence:
- Ensure compliance with administrative policies, procedures, and regulations related to the project.
- Support in the preparation and review of reports, documentation, and other key administrative tasks.

Administrative Support:
- Assist with general administrative tasks, such as responding to emails, drafting correspondences, and preparing necessary documents.
- Work closely with project managers and team members to ensure the timely completion of assigned tasks.
Qualifications & Requirements
To be successful in this role, candidates must meet the following qualifications:
- Education: A Degree in Business Administration or a related field is required.
- Experience: A minimum of 2 years’ experience in an administrative role, with a proven track record of supporting office and project operations.
- Skills:
- Strong organizational skills and the ability to multitask in a dynamic environment.
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to interact with diverse stakeholders.
- Proficiency in office software (MS Office Suite) and familiarity with project management tools will be an advantage.
