Job Description
As an Analyst - Accounts Receivable, you will play a pivotal role in managing daily accounts receivable activities, optimizing collections strategies, and ensuring seamless financial operations. Your contributions will directly impact the efficiency of our processes and customer satisfaction.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage cash collections proactively, ensuring alignment with payment terms and company targets.
- Oversee overdue invoice reconciliation and resolve deductions promptly.
- Collaborate with the sales team to manage account ledgers and outstanding debt.
- Ensure accurate processing of deductions while liaising with cross-functional teams for resolution.
- Prepare and circulate daily reports, including cash collection and bank guarantee updates.
- Handle the posting of cash inflows, credit/debit notes, and customer account statements.
- Drive the initiation of Direct Debit Instructions (DDI) for invoice settlements.
Requirements
Educational Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
- Professional certification in ICAN is an added advantage.
Experience:
- 1–3 years of relevant experience in accounts receivable or credit control.
- Hands-on experience with SAP and ERP systems is mandatory.
Skills and Competencies:
- Strong understanding of financial analysis and accounting principles.
- Proficiency in MS Office, especially Excel.
- Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.
- Analytical mindset with attention to detail.
- Previous auditing experience is a plus.
