Where You Fit In:
The Technical Data Management & Workflow Support team plays a vital role in managing petroleum engineering data. The team’s mission is to identify user needs, provide support, and enhance workflows for the Development Wells and Exploration (DWE) user community.
The Role
This role blends IT and core business skills within a technically challenging environment. The team fosters innovation while focusing on delivering high-quality solutions. Key Responsibilities
- Provide exceptional workflow and application support to DWE users, ensuring efficient use of industry-standard and proprietary software (e.g., Petrel, ArCGIS, Techlog).
- Assist in rolling out new software releases, conducting user acceptance tests, and training staff on new tools.
- Proactively identify and fix functionality gaps, collaborating with global teams for software upgrades and bug fixes.
- Support the deployment of new technologies and workflows to optimize productivity.
What We Need from You
Candidates should have at least 5 years of experience in Integrated Gas & Upstream businesses, with the following qualifications:
- A degree in Engineering, Physical Sciences, or a related technical field. A strong IT background is advantageous.
- 5+ years of experience in Workflow/Application Support and Project Delivery.
- Strong communication and leadership skills to manage cross-cultural teams and drive efficiency improvement initiatives.
- Knowledge of Integrated Gas & Upstream business processes and IT environments.
