Entry Requirements

General O’Level Requirements

• Five (5) credit passes, including English and Mathematics

• Three (3) other relevant subjects

Master’s Degree

• Second Class Lower in a related field with at least 0/5.0 CGPA

• Third Class degree with PGD and Lower Credit CGPA 0/5.0

• Degree must be from a YSU Senate-recognized university

Ph.D. Degree

• Second Class Lower in a related field

• Academic Master’s degree with at least ‘B’ grade (60%)

• Proven academic research ability and sound judgement

Postgraduate Diploma (PGD)

• Second Class Lower or HND with Lower Credit CGPA 0/5.0

• Third Class may be accepted for related fields or conversion programmes

How to Apply

1. Visit the YSU Postgraduate Application Portal.

2. Create an account.

3. Generate RRR and pay via e-payment or bank deposit.

4. Log in using your phone number and RRR.

5. Fill in all required fields.

6. Print your application slip.

7. Upload required documents (certificates, transcript, birth certificate, local government letter).

8. Select your course and area of specialization.

9. Only one programme can be chosen per application.

Note: The university may accept or reject applications without giving reasons.

Important Deadline

All applications must be completed and submitted before Monday, 21st April 2025.

Only fully completed and accurate applications will be processed.
