PUMS Post UTME Eligibility
UTME Candidates must
- Have sat for the 2024 Unified Tertiary Matriculation Examination (UTME) and chosen PUMS as their first choice.
- Possess five credit passes at SSCE (or equivalent) in Physics, Chemistry, Biology, English Language, and Mathematics in no more than two sittings.
- Have scored 170 and above in the 2024 UTME. For the MBBS program, a score of 220 and above is required.
- Upload O’level results on JAMB Central Admissions Processing System (CAPS).
Eligibility
- Candidates who sat for the 2024 JAMB UTME and made PUMS their first choice.
- Candidates wishing to study at PUMS but did not make it their first choice must apply for CHANGE OF INSTITUTION to PUMS as their first choice through the JAMB Portal.
- Candidates awaiting SSCE results or its equivalent are also eligible to apply for the Post-UTME Screening Exercise.
How to Apply for PUMS Post UTME Form
- Visit the PUMS Website.
- Click on Apply Now at the top center of the page.
- Enter your JAMB number and click on “Check Eligibility.” If verified, you will be redirected to the application form.
- Fill in all required information accurately before submitting.
- You will be logged onto the PUMS Portal to complete the application by uploading supporting documents.

- O’Level Result (WAEC and/or NECO) if available
- Birth Certificate/Age Affidavit
- Local Government of Origin
- Letter of Attestation/Reference
Method of Payment
- Click on “Make Payment.”
- Copy the bank account number and make a transfer or direct bank deposit of ?10,000 only.
- Upload evidence of payment.
- After successful payment and upload, make the final submission of your application and print the clearance form.
Post UTME Screening
Candidates should prepare for the mandatory screening exercise. The date for the 1st Post-UTME Screening will be announced.
