Job Title: Assistant CLO Coordinator (A/CLO)

Summary:
The U.S. Mission to Nigeria, comprising the Embassy in Abuja and the Consulate General in Lagos, is seeking a qualified Assistant CLO Coordinator for the Community Liaison Office. This role involves supporting the CLO Coordinator in various responsibilities, including family support, crisis management, education, and community events planning.
Responsibilities:
- Assist the CLO Coordinator in addressing eight key areas of responsibility, from family member employment to events planning.
- Collaborate in identifying and responding to the diverse needs of the post community through effective programming and resource management.
- Develop CLO materials, advocacy plans, and community event ideas, independently or in coordination with the CLO Coordinator.
- Serve as a backup in the absence of the CLO Coordinator, ensuring all responsibilities are fulfilled.
Education Requirements:
- Completion of at least two years of college or university studies.
Experience:
- Minimum of three years of professional experience, including administration, office management, customer service, program management, or public policy.
Skills And Abilities:
- Excellent interpersonal skills and teamwork abilities, crucial for addressing quality of life issues within the post community.
- Capable of working in a high-stress, fast-paced environment.
- Proficiency in data collection and report writing.
- Ability to exercise discretion and handle confidential matters when advocating for diverse employees and family members.
