As part of our continued expansion, we are recruiting for the position of Assistant Production Manager.
Job Title: Assistant Production Manager
Location: Sango Ota, Ogun
Employment Type: Full-time
Duties / Responsibilities
- Oversee the production process of aluminum ingots to ensure operational excellence.
- Implement and monitor quality control measures to meet business standards.
- Collaborate with engineering teams to optimize production equipment and processes.
- Manage and develop production staff, fostering a culture of continuous improvement.
- Ensure adherence to safety protocols, including the proper use of safety gear at all times.
- Plan and prepare for shift transitions, including cleanup, material stacking, and reporting.
- Train team members on machinery operations and best practices in aluminum ingot production.
- Ensure product quality, team member safety, and on-time production across all shifts.
- Ensure that procedures and policies are followed, and report machinery breakdowns.
Required Skills / Abilities
- OND, HND in Metallurgy, Mechanical Engineering, or a related field.
- 5-7 years of experience in production operations within the metal recycling industry.
- Proven experience in improving production processes and quality control.
- Strong leadership, problem-solving, and communication skills.
- At least five years of leadership experience in a factory setting.
