Job Summary
As an Automation Technician, you will be crucial in the design, implementation, and maintenance of instrumentation and electronic equipment to ensure seamless operations. Your role will involve troubleshooting, maintenance, and ensuring the availability of spare parts to support continuous plant operations.
Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain program backups and software for all plant equipment.
- Conduct basic cycle maintenance, cleaning, and inspections, embedding these practices in the team culture.
- Ensure the proper management and upkeep of engineering tools and equipment.
- Provide prompt and reliable service to production and management teams.
- Calibrate electronic instruments, including transducers, and maintain equipment such as electronic bottle inspectors and PLCs.
- Perform regular inspections of automation and electrical components on the PET line and ensure adherence to maintenance plans.
Requirements
- Bachelor of Engineering Degree (B.Eng.) or HND in Electrical and Electronics Engineering.
- Experience in budgeting and people management.
- Knowledge of bottling operations, including planning, manufacturing, quality, environment, engineering, and safety.
- 3-5 years of relevant FMCG operation and maintenance experience.
- At least 3 years of managerial experience in a beverage bottling company.
