This investment will be through the issuance of new shares by the JV, which will integrate Olam’s existing instant noodles business and assets in Nigeria. Olam will maintain a controlling interest, holding the remaining 74.5% ownership and management control of the JV. The transaction is based on a mutually agreed-upon price, with both parties agreeing on the terms under a willing-buyer, willing-seller arrangement. The deal is still subject to customary closing conditions.

Olam Sanyo Foods Limited is currently seeking to hire a Boiler Operator to join its growing team in Apapa, Lagos. This is a full-time position with an opportunity to contribute to the successful operation of the company’s manufacturing processes.

Key Responsibilities

• Operate, monitor, and adjust boilers to ensure the safe heating of water for production.
• Conduct preventive maintenance, as well as repair boilers, engines, and auxiliary equipment.
• Maintain and operate cooling towers, chillers, and HVAC systems.
• Oversee water treatment and plumbing systems.
• Control light or heavy machinery to aid in production and repairs.

Requirements

• A Bachelor's Degree, HND, or OND qualification is required.
• A minimum of 5-10 years of experience in a similar role.
