Post-UTME Admission Requirements
To be eligible for admission into Bowen University, prospective candidates must meet the following criteria:
- UTME: Must participate in the 2024 UTME.
- Educational Qualifications: Possess a minimum of five O'Level credits in subjects relevant to their chosen course, obtained in not more than two sittings. For certain programmes like Medicine and Surgery, Nursing Science, and Physiotherapy, credits including Mathematics and English must be obtained in one sitting.
- Awaiting Results: Candidates awaiting results may also apply.
- Screening Exercise: Participation in the Bowen University Screening Exercise is mandatory.
- Application Forms: Completion of the University's application forms.
- Change of Institution: Candidates wishing to switch to Bowen University must complete a change of institution form through JAMB and participate in the Bowen screening exercise.
Direct Entry Requirements
Candidates applying through Direct Entry must satisfy one of the following conditions:
- Holders of NCE/ND or approved equivalents with at least Lower Credit in relevant fields.
- Possess at least two Advanced Level passes at acceptable grade levels.
- Qualify through IJMB, JUPEB, or Cambridge Moderated School of Basic Studies at acceptable grade levels.
- Additionally, meet the Ordinary Level requirements specified for their chosen course.
