About the Role
As a Business Development Manager at ACCA, you will be responsible for driving business growth within the Lagos and West Nigeria region. Your role will focus on managing ACCA’s business relationships, promoting its brand, and ensuring the development of strategic partnerships. You will work closely with stakeholders to enhance ACCA’s reputation and support our growth objectives.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop strategic plans and engagement frameworks for partners and stakeholders within the Lagos/West region.
- Lead and inspire your team, fostering engagement, promoting diversity and inclusion, and ensuring continuous business success.
- Leverage global solutions and expertise to ensure ACCA’s initiatives are consistently implemented.
- Create value by connecting partners, optimizing ACCA’s ecosystem across various sectors, including employers, universities, secondary schools, and government.
- Regularly report on KPIs, outcomes, and business progress using established reporting mechanisms.
- Drive business opportunities by building strong relationships with key employers, public sector entities, and regulatory bodies.
About You
We’re seeking a highly motivated individual with a proven track record in business development and relationship management. Key qualifications include:
- A relevant degree (postgraduate qualifications are an advantage).
- Demonstrated experience in business development and relationship management, ideally in an education or corporate setting.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills.
- Strong networking, influencing, and negotiation abilities.
- The ability to work in a B2B and B2B2C environment and a global perspective on market strategies.
- Knowledge of public sector relations and experience in managing governmental partnerships.
- Experience in managing financial education or working with international organizations.
