Job Title: Cashier 1
Location: Mubi, Adamawa

Job Description
Under the direct supervision of the Finance and Admin Manager in Mubi, the Cashier 1 will be responsible for managing cash transactions and maintaining the integrity of cash balances within the delegation. The role requires strict adherence to ICRC's financial management rules and procedures.
Main Duties and Responsibilities
- Process cash disbursements and payments, including salaries and advances.
- Prepare invoices for payment via cash, check, or bank transfer.
- Conduct daily cash counts and reconcile discrepancies.
- Manage cash flow to ensure adequate liquidity and handle cash replenishment from the bank.
- File and report on financial documents accurately.
- Ensure compliance with financial procedures and provide explanations to stakeholders.
- Support Finance and Administration with financial forecasting and reporting.
- Handle system transactions, including creating Internal Requests (IRs) for per-diems, advances, and other financial needs.
- Maintain up-to-date databases on staff, travel, and other relevant information.
- Organize Welcome files, business cards, briefing programs, and delegation tours for new arrivals.
- Assist with organizing events, meetings, and seminars, coordinating logistics with relevant parties.
- Support or manage small welcome departments and assist with accommodation arrangements for staff and guests.
- Help coordinate staff travel and ensure cost-effective arrangements, including transportation logistics.
- Facilitate communication between ICRC offices, sub-delegations, and headquarters regarding staff travel.
Education and Experience Required
- University degree in Accounting or a relevant field.
- Fluent in both spoken and written English and Hausa.
- Nigerian nationality or valid working permit.
- Minimum of 2 years' experience in a similar role.
- Proficient in computer applications.

- Highly organized with effective planning skills.
