Aramark Healthcare is actively seeking an experienced Clinical Nutrition Manager II to lead our clinical nutrition program at Houston Methodist Hospital. This pivotal role involves ensuring optimal patient care and satisfaction through effective management of our nutrition services. We are looking for a candidate with a robust background in clinical nutrition and demonstrated leadership in managing teams of nutrition professionals.
Key Responsibilities
- Establish and uphold policies, standards, and programs for delivering cost-effective, optimal nutrition care to patients.
- Coordinate and direct all clinical activities, ensuring appropriate staffing levels.
- Oversee day-to-day operations of the clinical nutrition department.
- Develop goals and objectives to maintain high-quality care in Clinical Nutrition.
Job Responsibilities
In this role, you will manage and lead:
- A team of 30+ Registered/Licensed Clinical Dietitians.
- Over 15 committees within the clinical nutrition department.
- Clinical Nutrition Dashboards and Data Analysis.
- Clinical Productivity and Data Analysis.
- Patient Experience Initiatives.
- System Clinical Nutrition leadership Initiatives.
You will also take the lead on projects including:
- Malnutrition Program and Reimbursement Initiatives.
- Enhanced Recovery After Surgery (ERAS) Initiatives.
- Volume Based Feeding Initiatives.
- International Dysphagia Diet Standardization Initiatives (IDDSI).
- Participation in FNCE (AND Annual Conference) and National Nutrition Month (NNM).
- Nurse’s and Hospital Weeks.
Qualifications
- Registered Dietitian with active registration by the Commission on Dietetic Registration of the Academy of Nutrition and Dietetics.
- Texas licensure to practice as a Dietitian.
- Bachelor's degree from an accredited university; Master's degree preferred.
- Minimum 5 years of experience as a clinical dietitian; 3 years of supervisory experience preferred.
