Job Summary
We are looking for a dynamic and experienced Commercial Manager in the Oil & Gas sector to lead our client’s Commercial Team and execute their commercial strategies. The ideal candidate will exhibit strong leadership, contract management skills, and a drive for maximizing commercial operations' value.
Key Responsibilities

Market Analysis and Strategy Development:
Conduct market research to identify emerging opportunities and enhance market share. -
Proposal Development:
Oversee the proposal process, ensuring alignment with client needs and company capabilities. -
Client Acquisition and Relationship Management:
Build and maintain relationships with key clients in the Upstream, Midstream, and Downstream sectors. -
External Procurement:
Manage procurement activities, ensuring compliance with client specifications and efficient bid processes. -
Contract Negotiation and Management:
Lead negotiations on service contracts, ensuring compliance with policies and maximizing profitability. -
Revenue Growth and Financial Management:
Identify cross-selling opportunities and prepare financial models to support growth initiatives. -
Project Coordination and Client Solutions:
Collaborate with teams to deliver tailored solutions that meet client specifications. -
Risk Management and Compliance:
Evaluate risks related to contracts and market conditions, ensuring compliance with regulations. -
Stakeholder Relationship Management:
Manage relationships with clients and government bodies.
Required Skills and Qualifications
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Business, Engineering, Finance, Law, or a related field; MBA preferred.
- Experience: 8+ years in Oil and Gas services or related sectors with a focus on business development.
- Skills: Strong financial modeling, negotiation, and project management skills. Client-focused and solutions-oriented with the ability to influence key decision-makers.
Salary
1,500,000 NGN monthly plus benefits (Sales Incentives).
