About The Role:
As a Commercial Finance Manager at TGI Distri Limited, you'll provide crucial business partnering to our Commercial/Sales team, driving performance and offering decision support. You'll identify key performance indicators (KPIs) to gauge business performance, ensuring strategic alignment and value maximization. Collaborating with stakeholders across marketing, Shopper Marketing, Sales, and Supply Chain, you'll exchange strategy and financial insights, contributing to our growth trajectory.
Key Accountabilities:
- Manage revenue and planning for distributor business, addressing opportunities and risks promptly.
- Support Sales Team strategies for Net Sales Revenue and GP growth through effective business planning and forecasting.
- Evaluate and monitor Trade Discount Incentive programs for promotional effectiveness and profitability.
- Provide strategic investment decision support, analyzing new customers/business opportunities and RTM/business model analysis.
- Conduct robust analysis on pack profitability, portfolio management, and product value chain analysis.
- Implement spending controls, review spending requests, and manage banking relationships for distributors.
- Analyze Commercial initiatives, including product launches, pricing, promotional activities, and direct marketing expenditure.
- Drive initiatives to improve Gross Profit through pricing, promo optimization, mix optimization, and product profitability.
- Prepare insightful financial analysis and decision support for sales and category teams, identifying opportunities and risks.
- Transfer finance knowledge to sales teams, enhancing financial acumen and performance.
- Track distributor financial scorecards, review performance, and design appropriate compensation and incentive structures.
- Ensure compliance with Commercial policies including credit management, debts collection, and product returns.
Education / Knowledge, Skills, Attributes, Experience & Other Requirements:
- Bachelor's Degree or Higher National Diploma in Accounting or related field.
- Qualified Accountant (ICAN, ACA, CIMA, ACCA or equivalent).
- 4+ years of commercial finance and financial planning experience.
- Proficiency in NAVISION, Advanced Excel, PowerPoint, and Word.
- Experience in FMCG or retail sector preferred.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and interpersonal skills.
- Detail-oriented with excellent organizational abilities.
- Proactive, self-driven, and able to work independently.
- Leadership and coaching skills.
