Job Title: Construction Engineer

Key Duties & Responsibilities
- Project Management: Oversee the design, construction, and maintenance of civil infrastructure projects, from small-scale ventures to large-scale developments.
- Construction Coordination: Lead and manage the entire construction process, ensuring projects are delivered on time and within budget.
- Scheduling & Budgeting: Develop and manage detailed project schedules, budgets, and resource allocations to ensure effective project execution.
- Cross-Departmental Collaboration: Work closely with engineering, production, and other departments to ensure seamless integration and collaboration.
- Risk Management: Identify potential risks and issues early and implement effective mitigation strategies.
- Quality Assurance: Maintain high standards of quality control and assurance throughout the construction process.
- Regulatory Compliance: Ensure all construction activities comply with safety regulations, industry standards, and company policies.
- Team Oversight: Supervise and direct contractors, subcontractors, and construction teams to ensure efficient and effective project execution.
- Site Inspections: Conduct regular site inspections to monitor progress and address any issues that arise.
Academic / Professional Qualifications
- Bachelor’s Degree in Construction Engineering, Civil Engineering, or a related field.
- 3 to 9 years of experience in civil engineering, preferably within the cement industry.
- In-depth knowledge of construction methods, materials, and techniques in accordance with relevant engineering codes of practice.
- Proven ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet strict deadlines.
- Strong understanding of safety regulations and industry standards.
- Proficiency in industry-specific software such as AutoCAD or Civil 3D.
- Experience with project management software and tools.
- Excellent communication, leadership, and problem-solving skills.
