Key responsibilities include
- Conducting on-site assessments of physical properties, including detailed evaluations of risks such as water supplies, chemical storage, and structural integrity.
- Ensuring adherence to FM Global's engineering standards and communicating recommendations effectively to clients.
- Balancing home office work with regular travel to client facilities, with overnight travel expected approximately 30% of the time.
Ideal candidates, preferably based in Albany, NY, possess a bachelor's degree in engineering and a minimum of two years of industry experience. Strong communication, analytical, and problem-solving skills are essential, alongside proficiency in MS Office and the ability to work effectively in a remote environment. Physical requirements include the ability to lift up to 25 pounds and work at heights.
