We Are Hiring: Customer Invoicing Officer
Location: Port Harcourt, Rivers
Job Type: Full-time
Key Responsibilities
- Create and send invoices to the Lead WCD CSOM for review.
- Ensure invoices are accurate and delivered to customers within 48 hours, along with complete documentation. Confirm that business units vet the invoices prior to submission.
- Promptly respond to clients, CAMS, and receivable officers' queries and resolve invoice disputes and discrepancies.
- Update and cross-check the WCD invoice register to ensure invoices are posted to the correct business unit.
- Submit an invoices report every week (Thursday) to receivable officers to align with the submitted receivable report.
- Assist with invoice ticketing during the officer in charge's absence.
- Provide invoices and other support documents required during audits.
- Prepare credit notes and forward them for sign-off by the CAM, BDM, Finance Manager, and Country Director.
- Ensure compliance with company invoicing policies and procedures.
Qualifications
- A graduate (B.Sc. or HND) preferably in Accounting.
- Must have 3-5 years of post-qualification experience.
- ICAN student status is an added advantage.
- Proficiency in Excel is essential, along with familiarity with accounting software (knowledge of MS Dynamics ERP is a plus).
