German Academic Exchange Service (DAAD) offers scholarships providing an opportunity for graduates from developing and newly industrialized countries to pursue postgraduate or Master’s studies at state or state-recognized German universities. Additionally, in exceptional cases, candidates can pursue doctoral degrees in Germany.
Requirements:
- Applicants must work for a public authority, state, or private company in a developing country, engaged in development policies.
- Hold a Bachelor’s degree in a related field with exceptional academic performance and at least two years of professional experience.
- Academic degrees should not be more than six years old.
- Applicants residing in Germany for over 15 months at the application deadline are ineligible.
Language Skills:
- For courses in German: Proficiency in German (B1 level at the time of application) and passing the DSH 2 or TestDaF 4 examination before the start of the study course.
- For English courses: IELTS (Band 6) or TOEFL (minimum score: 550 paper-based, 213 computer-based, 80 internet-based).
