Job Description
As a Data Analyst at eHealth4everyone, you will be responsible for gathering, analyzing, and interpreting complex data sets to provide actionable insights that drive better decision-making processes. You will use your problem-solving skills and expertise in data analysis tools to support various departments within the organization, ensuring the effective use of data in decision-making.
Key Responsibilities
- Data Acquisition & Management: Collect data from primary and secondary sources and ensure accurate maintenance of databases and data systems.
- Data Interpretation & Reporting: Use statistical tools and techniques to analyze and interpret data, providing comprehensive reports on trends, patterns, and predictions.
- Data Cleaning & Quality Assurance: Conduct thorough data cleaning processes to enhance the accuracy and quality of the data, ensuring it is ready for analysis.
- Report Preparation: Prepare detailed reports for management and stakeholders, explaining the data analysis process, key insights, and recommendations for informed decision-making.
- Trend Analysis: Leverage data analysis to identify local, national, and global trends that impact the organization's operations and the broader industry.
- Statistical Analysis: Use statistical methodologies to uncover patterns, correlations, and trends within complex data sets to aid in predictive analysis and decision-making.
Qualifications and Skills
- A Degree in Data Science, Computer Science, Statistics, Mathematics, Economics, or a related field is required.
- A minimum of three (3) years of professional experience in data analysis, using tools such as Microsoft Excel, SQL, Power BI, Tableau, and Google Sheets.
- Solid understanding of statistical methodologies and the ability to apply them effectively in data analysis.
- Proficiency in data visualization and report generation, with excellent written, oral, and graphical communication skills.
- Strong numerical, analytical, and problem-solving skills, with the ability to present complex data in an understandable format.
- A relevant Data Analytics Certification such as Google Data Analytics Professional Certification or Microsoft Data Analyst Associate Certification is required.
- Familiarity with GIS tools such as ArcGIS or QGIS is an added advantage.
