Job Title: Data Enumerators - Household Survey
Locations: Edo, Gombe, Imo, and Kano

Activity: ACT Market Survey on the Private Sector Market Analysis (PSMA)
Duration: September - October 2024
Purpose of Assignment
Engage data enumerators to conduct household data collection using quantitative data collection tools (Questionnaires and Observational Checklists) across four states for the PSMA project. Data enumerators will be required to conduct and submit a minimum of three electronic responses per person daily for 12 days of the survey.
Scope of Work
- Attend 3-4 days of training sessions on responsible conduct of research and Malaria Consortium Safeguarding.
- Participate in the pretesting of tools prior to field data collection.
- Review data for accuracy and completeness before uploading it on the Kobo Collect database.
- Submit signed timesheets.
- Conduct household listings in selected states.
- Obtain informed consent from eligible respondents.
- Identify eligible respondents and participate in quantitative data collection (Household Survey) using the Kobo Collect platform (already scripted into an Android device).
Qualifications
- A minimum of a bachelor’s degree or Higher National Diploma with at least one year of experience.
- Working knowledge of the local language of the implementation state (Yoruba, Hausa, Igbo, etc.).
- Residency within the state and proficiency in spoken and written English.
- Excellent organisational and time management skills.
- Previous experience as a data enumerator in similar public health research.
- Experience in using Android devices for data collection (Kobo Collect and SurveyCTO).
