As the Director of FinTech Sales, you will lead a dynamic revenue opportunity at Blackbaud. Your main responsibility is to develop and implement a strategic sales plan that meets revenue targets for our FinTech Direct Sales Team. This role requires a profound understanding of financial software sales leadership and the ability to identify trends and opportunities in the market.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and Implement Sales Strategy: Create and execute a comprehensive FinTech strategic sales plan to achieve company targets and objectives.
- Team Management: Hire, lead, and manage a high-performing team of 5 FinTech Account Executives, with plans for future growth.
- Relationship Building: Build and nurture essential relationships with strategic customers and market influencers.
- Cross-Department Collaboration: Work closely with Marketing and Product Development to ensure alignment on overall sales strategy.
- Market Monitoring: Keep an eye on market trends and competition to identify new opportunities and adapt strategies as needed.
- Sales Forecasting: Own and ensure forecast accuracy for sales performance.
- Value Proposition Delivery: Clearly communicate the FinTech value proposition to various audiences, including C-Level executives.
- Motivation and Leadership: Inspire individuals to succeed through impactful leadership, coaching, and innovative sales incentives.
Qualifications
- Experience: Over 10 years of financial software sales experience, with at least 5 years of experience managing successful sales teams.
- Sales Success: Proven track record of driving strategic business growth in a financial software application environment.
- Complex Sales Navigation: Experience navigating complex sales cycles with both commercial and enterprise customers.
- Quantitative Skills: Proficient in ROI, cost modeling, and other quantitative techniques to educate and persuade buyers.
- Organizational Skills: Excellent prioritization, time management, and organizational abilities.
- Preferred Background: Experience with nonprofits and foundations is highly preferred.
