Main Responsibilities:
- Craft wells data sheets and conduct comprehensive wells offset reviews.
- Design wells intricately, covering casing design, mud engineering, and hydraulics modeling.
- Evaluate and select suitable offset wells, ensuring efficient drilling operations.
- Monitor daily well costs and maintain accurate depth vs days and depth vs cost curves.
- Provide technical support during drilling operations, attending rig calls and ensuring adherence to global drilling standards.
- Produce detailed drilling procedures and AFEs (Authorization for Expenditure) for assigned wells.
- Collaborate with specialist contractors and suppliers, ensuring seamless coordination.
- Compile comprehensive End of Well reports for all assigned wells.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's Degree in Engineering; a master’s degree is advantageous.
- Minimum 7+ years of relevant experience in Well Engineering with an Operator.
- Proficiency in industry-standard Well Engineering software like Wellcalt, Stress Check, and Drilling Office.
- Ability to thrive in a multicultural environment and willingness to travel to rig locations as needed.
