Job Description
As an EGINA Senior Process Engineer at SPIE Oil & Gas Services, you will play a pivotal role in optimizing our process operations and supporting offshore and field activities. Your responsibilities will include:
- Conducting process optimization studies and developing recommendations to enhance existing installations and processes.
- Providing expert support to Offshore Operations and the SMART Room, focusing on flow assurance, process troubleshooting, and production optimization.
- Assisting the Field Operations Site Modification Request (SMR) coordinator with SMR management and ensuring effective implementation of modifications.
- Proposing facility and equipment modification programs, including preparing Scope of Requirements for feasibility studies, pre-project studies, or SMRs.
- Offering process documentation and support to other disciplines, including Maintenance, Well Performance, and Development Planning.
- Preparing REX inputs for HQ and affiliates, sharing process feedback from deepwater operations.
- Training and mentoring less-experienced engineers and interns under the guidance of the Head of Process & Flow Assurance.
- Leading and participating in the development of safety-related modifications, including engineering documentation such as P&IDs, ESD and Fire and Gas Logic Diagrams, and Flare Radiation and Capacity assessments.
- Supervising process studies conducted by junior engineers and participating in technical reviews (HAZOP, PTR, Safety Reviews), consolidating opinions and recommendations.
- Supporting operational preparation and readiness for PFSD and FFSD scopes of work.
- Contributing to the evolution of tools and work methods, ensuring alignment with company rules, general specifications, and international standards.
- Providing process assistance to engineering studies, projects, and other entities, including Development and Planning.
Profile
- Education: Bachelor’s Degree in Chemical Engineering or a related field.
- Professional Experience: Minimum of 6 years of experience in process engineering studies, including exposure to site operations.
- Required Skills: Proficiency in process simulation tools such as HYSIS, ProII, OLGA, and Flaresim.
- Language: Fluent in English.
