Scholarship Awards Eligibility
To qualify for the Ekiti State Government Scholarship Award, applicants must:
- Be in their 2nd year or higher of their course of study.
- Hold a WASSCE/NECO certificate with at least five credits, including English Language and Mathematics, obtained in one sitting.
- Maintain a minimum CGPA of 4.0 for university students, 3.50 for polytechnics, or 3.50 for NCE students.
- For Master’s Degree and Ph.D. candidates: A 2nd Class Upper Division at the undergraduate level is required. Ph.D. applicants must have achieved a distinction in their Master’s Degree and provide a recommendation letter from their Head of Department.
Physically challenged students enrolled in universities, polytechnics, colleges of education, or schools of nursing/midwifery are eligible for the Handicapped Scholarship Award.
