About the Role
Are you an aspiring Electrical Engineer looking to kick-start your career in a vibrant and dynamic environment? We're on the lookout for a passionate and detail-oriented Entry-Level Electrical/Electronics Engineer to join our team. In this role, you'll be involved in the design, development, testing, and maintenance of electrical and electronic equipment, contributing to groundbreaking projects and gaining valuable hands-on experience along the way.
Key Responsibilities
- Utilize CAD software to meticulously craft detailed electrical schematics, drawings, and layouts.
- Exercise discernment in selecting the appropriate materials and components to meet project specifications.
- Analyze test results with precision to identify any issues and implement necessary improvements.
- Uphold adherence to industry standards and safety regulations throughout all stages of project development.
- Perform regular inspections and audits of electrical equipment and systems to ensure optimal functionality.
- Guarantee that all designs and products align with relevant codes and standards.
- Collaborate effectively with other engineering disciplines, project managers, and stakeholders to achieve project objectives.
- Prepare comprehensive project documentation, including specifications, test plans, and reports.
- Conduct feasibility studies, simulations, and testing of electrical systems and components to inform decision-making.
- Stay abreast of the latest advancements in electrical engineering and technology to remain at the forefront of innovation.
Qualifications & Requirements
- Bachelor's degree (BSc.) or Higher National Diploma (HND) in Electrical Electronics Engineering.
- 1-2 years of relevant hands-on experience.
- Sound understanding of electrical systems, circuits, and components, coupled with proficiency in electrical and electronic principles.
- Demonstrated ability to utilize electrical testing and diagnostic tools (e.g., multimeters, oscilloscopes) effectively.
- Familiarity with signal processing techniques for analyzing, filtering, and interpreting sensor data.
- Knowledge of power supply design, battery management, and safety standards for handling electrical systems in equipment.
- Exceptional attention to detail and a quick learning curve to adapt to new challenges.
- Proficiency in CAD software for designing electrical schematics and PCB layouts (e.g., AutoCAD).
- Understanding of instrumentation and control systems.
