Job Description
We are looking for a highly skilled Electrical Technician to join our technical team. In this role, you will be responsible for installing, maintaining, and repairing electrical systems and equipment in our facilities.
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct feasibility studies for new electrical projects
- Install new electrical systems and equipment in compliance with standards
- Perform routine maintenance and inspections to ensure systems run optimally
- Diagnose and troubleshoot electrical problems, providing prompt solutions
- Collaborate with engineers and technicians to ensure projects are completed efficiently
- Keep accurate records of electrical work, including maintenance logs and repair reports
- Adhere to all safety protocols, including the use of personal protective equipment (PPE)
Qualifications
- HND/OND in Electrical Engineering or a related field
- Strong knowledge of safety and environmental regulations
- Proficiency in technical report writing and documentation
- Ability to estimate project costs and timelines
- Competency in computer-assisted engineering and circuit diagram creation
- Experience in coordinating with craftspeople and testing electrical systems
