Locations: Asaba (Delta), Awka (Anambra), Benin (Edo), Enugu, Ilorin (Kwara), Owerri (Imo), Ebonyi
Pay Band: Hourly Rate
Contract Type: Two-Year Freelance Contract

About the Role
As an Exams Invigilator, you will ensure the smooth administration of tests conducted by the British Council. You will work with the Nigeria Exams team and a pool of test day personnel across various locations. Responsibilities include overseeing test day procedures, guiding candidates, conducting identity checks, and ensuring exam security.
Key Responsibilities
- Report on time to the test venue and inform staff of any delays.
- Facilitate smooth candidate flow and address inquiries.
- Conduct entry, exit, identity checks, and Test Day Photography.
- Ensure compliance with exam procedures.
- Attend briefing and training sessions as required.
- Some travel may be required, including occasional overnight stays.
Essential Requirements
- English language proficiency at B1 level or equivalent (e.g., Cambridge English PET, IELTS 5).
- Experience in customer service, especially with children and young adults.
Desirable Requirements
- Previous experience as an invigilator.
- Awareness of safeguarding and child welfare.
- Relevant diploma or equivalent qualification.
