Key Responsibilities for Facility Maintenance Manager
As a Facility Maintenance Manager at Fidson Healthcare Plc, you will play a crucial role in ensuring smooth operations of the company's facilities. Your responsibilities will include:
- Facility Maintenance & Operations: Develop and implement maintenance strategies, conduct inspections, manage emergency responses, and coordinate with external contractors.
- Compliance & Regulatory Requirements: Ensure adherence to regulatory standards, maintain documentation, and collaborate with regulatory teams.
- Safety & Security Management: Develop safety protocols, conduct training, and ensure a secure environment.
- Space Planning & Utilization: Optimize workspace usage, manage expansions, and plan office layouts for increased productivity.
- Utilities Management: Monitor and manage utility consumption, implement energy-saving initiatives, and negotiate contracts with utility providers.
- Budgeting & Financial Management: Create and manage facility budgets, track expenses, and implement cost-saving strategies.
- Leadership & Supervision: Supervise maintenance officers, vendors, and service providers, and provide training and coaching.
Required Qualifications and Experience
- Education: Bachelor’s degree (B.Eng, B.Tech, B.Sc.)
- Experience: Minimum of 5 years of relevant experience in facility maintenance.
- Key Skills: Strong leadership, negotiation skills, vendor management, knowledge of health and safety, and financial management.
