Job Description

The FCRA Usage Specialist oversees assigned portfolios, businesses, or functions to assess adherence to Fair Credit Reporting Act (FCRA) guidelines regarding consumer report usage.

Depth & Scope

  • Ensures strict adherence to quality standards.
  • Provides leadership and guidance to junior staff.
  • Leads complex projects to meet company objectives, directing team efforts.
  • Identifies and implements process improvements to enhance service quality and streamline operations.
  • Recommends and conducts departmental training.
  • Maintains expert knowledge of company systems, assisting with implementations and advising management as necessary.
  • Coordinates compliance activities and quality control measures.
  • Develops, updates, and manages manuals, reports, and documents.
  • Participates in special projects and additional assigned duties.

Education & Experience

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience.
  • Minimum 5 years of relevant experience.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Exceptional time management and organizational abilities.
  • Proficient computer skills.
  • Flexibility to work evenings and weekends when necessary.
  • Proven problem-solving and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, unpredictable environment.
  • Detail-oriented with strong leadership capabilities.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Familiarity with FCRA regulations.
  • Experience in compliance.
  • Knowledge of TSYS systems.
