Job Description
The FCRA Usage Specialist oversees assigned portfolios, businesses, or functions to assess adherence to Fair Credit Reporting Act (FCRA) guidelines regarding consumer report usage.
Depth & Scope
- Ensures strict adherence to quality standards.
- Provides leadership and guidance to junior staff.
- Leads complex projects to meet company objectives, directing team efforts.
- Identifies and implements process improvements to enhance service quality and streamline operations.
- Recommends and conducts departmental training.
- Maintains expert knowledge of company systems, assisting with implementations and advising management as necessary.
- Coordinates compliance activities and quality control measures.
- Develops, updates, and manages manuals, reports, and documents.
- Participates in special projects and additional assigned duties.
Education & Experience
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience.
- Minimum 5 years of relevant experience.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Exceptional time management and organizational abilities.
- Proficient computer skills.
- Flexibility to work evenings and weekends when necessary.
- Proven problem-solving and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, unpredictable environment.
