Available Programmes
The college offers three primary programmes:
1. National Diploma (ND) in Medical Laboratory Technology
This programme is designed to train students in laboratory diagnostics and medical research.
- Duration: Three years (two years of coursework and one year of supervised industrial training under the SIWES programme).
- Entry Requirements: Applicants must have a GCE, NECO, or WAEC certificate with credit passes in five subjects, including Biology, Chemistry, Mathematics, Physics, and English Language, obtained in no more than two sittings. Results must not exceed five years.
2. National Diploma (ND) in Environmental Health Technology
This programme equips students with skills to manage and improve public health through environmental interventions.
- Duration: Two years of coursework followed by one year of industrial attachment under the SIWES programme.
- Entry Requirements: Candidates must hold a GCE, NECO, or WAEC certificate with credit passes in Biology, Chemistry, Mathematics, Physics, and English Language, obtained at no more than two sittings. The results must not be older than five years.
3. ND II Direct Entry for Recertification of Registered Medical Laboratory Technicians
This one-year intensive programme is aimed at certified Medical Laboratory Technicians seeking recertification and professional advancement.
- Eligibility: Candidates must be registered with the Medical Laboratory Science Council of Nigeria (MLSCN) and provide an academic transcript from their training institution.

Application forms are available for purchase at the Accounts Department of the College, located at the JUTH Old Site, Jos.
Fees for Application Forms
- ND Medical Laboratory Technology: N10,000
- ND Environmental Health Technology: N10,000
- ND II Direct Entry for Recertification: N50,000
Applicants are advised to obtain the TSA payment procedure from the Accounts Department before making payments.
