Objective of the Program
The Pre-Degree Science (PDS) Program at FUTA facilitates a smooth transition to university education, equipping students with both academic and practical skills essential for higher education.
Admission Requirements for Pre-Degree Science
To qualify, candidates must have:
- WAEC, NECO, or NABTEB with at least five credits in two sittings, including English, Mathematics, Physics, and Chemistry.
- A relevant fifth subject such as Biology, Agricultural Science, Economics, or Geography.
- For certain departments, a pass in Physics or Chemistry may be acceptable (details provided above).
- Candidates with O-level deficiencies may apply, provided these are resolved before the end of the program.
Admission to University Undergraduate Program
Post-PDS, candidates must:
- Obtain a JAMB UTME form.
- Select FUTA as their first choice.
- Achieve a minimum of 50% in the PDS final exam.
- Meet JAMB’s minimum aggregate score and comply with University Admission Committee requirements.

- Log in with your Username and Password.
- Generate an application invoice and pay the ?20,000 fee using the RRR code at any bank or online via the Remita platform.
- Confirm payment and complete the application form online.
- Submit the form and print your Acknowledgement/Screening Schedule slip.
- If eligible, print the Admission Letter and pay school fees through the Remita process.
