Job Description:
Are you passionate about procurement and ready to take on new challenges? We're hiring a Female Procurement Officer to join our team at Protea Hotel By Marriott Lagos Kuramo Waters. As a vital member of our team, you'll play a crucial role in our continued growth and success.
Responsibilities:
- Source suppliers for goods and services, negotiate terms, and attend vendor meetings.
- Manage purchase orders for materials, equipment, and personnel.
- Ensure compliance with company and statutory policies and regulations.
- Develop cost control plans and document policies and procedures.
- Analyze invoices and monitor inventory to optimize procurement processes.
Requirements:
- Background in accounting preferred, with at least 3 years of experience.
- Additional certification in procurement desired.
- Strong industry knowledge and excellent communication skills.
- Ability to build rapport, work independently, and meet deadlines.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite; knowledge of ERP packages is a plus.
