Federal Government Launches 3MTT Community Manager Recruitment Nationwide
The Federal Government has officially started the 3MTT Community Manager recruitment process for Community Managers as part of its 3 Million Technical Talent (3MTT) program. This initiative, announced by the Ministry of Communications, Innovation, and Digital Economy on Monday, aims to hire 37 Learning Community Managers nationwide.
The role of a 3MTT Community Manager involves leading, building, and maintaining a community of technical talent within their respective states. They will be responsible for scalable programs that attract diverse aspiring Nigerian Technologists, preparing them for the tech workforce and opportunities in the digital economy. The Ministry highlighted key responsibilities, including community engagement, brand ownership, growth strategies, and the organization of events.
Qualifications and Application
The ideal candidate should possess 3-4 years of relevant managerial experience, leadership skills, and a deep understanding of the Nigerian developer ecosystem. Interested candidates, fitting the outlined criteria, can apply without a specified deadline.
3MTT Program Overview
Supervised by Dr. Bosun Tijani, the program aligns with President Bola Tinubu's Renewed Hope agenda. It focuses on building Nigeria's technical talent to drive the digital economy, positioning the country as a net talent exporter. The first phase, in collaboration with NITDA, involves various stakeholders such as fellows, training providers, partners, and placement organizations.
