We're seeking a talented and motivated individual to join our team in the role of Field/Site Engineer. This position will be based in Bayelsa and Rivers, overseeing the successful execution of construction projects.
Responsibilities:
- Manage, design, and develop construction projects ensuring safety, timeliness, and sustainability.
- Supervise and mentor staff while liaising with stakeholders.
- Monitor project progress, compile reports, and manage budgets.
- Conduct on-site investigations, analyze data, and ensure compliance with regulations.
- Provide technical expertise, resolve issues, and ensure quality deliverables.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering.
- Proficiency in engineering software packages.
- Leadership and project management skills.
- Experience in the Oil & Gas sector is advantageous.
- Good supervisory skills and understanding of construction processes.
Skills and Competencies:
- Ability to communicate complex information clearly.
- Strong negotiation and bidding skills.
- Excellent data management and record-keeping abilities.
- Proficiency in design and visualization software.
- Project management and supervision expertise.
- Problem-solving and conflict resolution capabilities.
