Role Overview
As a Finance Advisor SAP FICO at SPDC, you will provide world-class finance operations support to Shell Companies in Nigeria. Utilizing cutting-edge technology and top-tier technical skills, you will ensure the integrity and accuracy of financial data, deriving valuable business insights. This role requires meticulous attention to detail while maintaining a broad perspective.
Key Responsibilities
- Support the functional lead and team with specialist expertise in SAP, optimizing business processes and realizing SAP benefits.
- Guide business applications of SAP to enhance process management and impact.
- Assist users with varying levels of SAP skills and evaluate organizational changes' effects on SAP use.
- Develop and review training materials, delivering training to increase SAP user effectiveness.
- Promote efficient SAP usage, monitor its business impact, and ensure quality data in SAP ECC and BW.
- Create training plans to address competence gaps among end users and maintain training sessions across Shell Nigeria.
- Collaborate with Shell Central IT & Process Excellence to meet Nigeria's requirements.
- Evaluate proposed changes and improvement initiatives.
- Prepare monthly Management Information Reports/Dashboards and ensure SAP FICO and BW HANA solutions meet business needs.
- Standardize and automate MI reports using Power BI, Alteryx, and other solutions.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree
- SAP Finance & Project Management certifications
- Experience with SAP and Business Warehouse or other ERP and MI systems
- Proficiency in Management Information and Reporting
- Strong stakeholder management and negotiation skills
- Experience in ERP systems management with a solid understanding of financial concepts and standards
- 3 to 10 years of relevant post-graduation work experience
