PZ Cussons, a renowned global consumer products group, is seeking a skilled Finance Analyst to join their team in Lagos. Leveraging over 130 years of industry expertise, PZ Cussons operates internationally, focusing on strategic markets for sustainable growth.
Responsibilities:
- Conduct thorough financial reporting and analysis for designated PZW brand(s), collaborating closely with the commercial team.
- Perform comprehensive financial analysis and option evaluation for brand investments, aiming to maximize ROI across promotional, marketing, pricing, and distribution strategies.
- Provide robust financial support and scrutiny for all New Product Development (NPD) opportunities within assigned brands, serving as the finance representative on cross-functional project teams.
- Ensure proper approval of promotional and marketing expenditures in alignment with company standards and objectives.
- Exemplify Winning Team Principles in interactions with colleagues, clients, and suppliers, fostering a culture of collaboration and excellence.
- Uphold compliance with legal, regulatory, and internal standards as directed by management.
- Contribute to the identification and implementation of process improvements within areas of expertise, driving operational efficiency and effectiveness.
Qualifications:
- Qualified Chartered Accountant (ACA) with a strong academic background.
- 3-5 years of commercial finance experience in the Fast-Moving Consumer Goods (FMCG) sector is essential.
- Exceptional communication and analytical skills, with the ability to influence stakeholders at all levels.
- Previous experience in marketing expenditure and brand profitability analysis is advantageous.
- Demonstrated commercial acumen and a proactive approach to problem-solving.
