Job Summary
The Finance Associate will perform specialized finance tasks, ensuring compliance with UNICEF financial rules. Responsibilities include handling complex financial functions, producing timely and accurate reports, and maintaining bank relations. Key Responsibilities
- Support report preparation, data compilation, and budget adjustments.
- Correspond with banks and maintain office bank accounts.
- Perform HACT transaction reviews and trace documentation.
- Prepare cost estimates and assist with budget analysis.
- Maintain financial records for transaction reconciliation.
- Generate monthly and year-end financial reports.
- Advise staff on allowances, travel claims, and financial queries.
Requirements
- Education: Secondary education; Accounting and Finance courses are an asset.
- Experience: Minimum six years in finance or accounting.
- Language: Fluency in English; additional UN languages are an asset.
