Key Responsibilities of the Finance Specialist (Reconciliation)
As a Finance Specialist at Seven-Up Bottling Company Limited, you will be responsible for managing critical aspects of the company’s financial operations, focusing on reconciliation, reporting, and supporting the overall financial health of the organization.

Daily and Monthly Bank Reconciliation: Perform bank reconciliation activities for collection, imprest, and remittance accounts across various regions, ensuring accuracy and completeness.

Bank Liaison: Work closely with banking partners to resolve issues related to online bank statements, failed payments, and vendor payment complaints.

Payment Validation: Validate payments from scrap buyers and generate receipts to support the recognition of other income.

Report Preparation and Analysis: Assist the OFM in preparing and analyzing monthly reports to provide key insights into financial performance.

Month-End Stock Count: Actively participate in the month-end stock count process to ensure accurate financial reporting.

Processing Administrative Payments: Process approved payments for administrative-related expenses within the region, including imprest expenses.

Journal Entries: Support the Finance Lead by raising journals for month-end financial closures and ensuring proper accounting treatment.
Qualifications and Requirements
To succeed in this role, the ideal candidate will possess the following qualifications:

Educational Background: BSc/HND in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.

Professional Experience: A minimum of 3 years of post-qualification experience in a manufacturing environment. Experience in the FMCG sector is highly advantageous.

Certifications: Professional-level qualifications in Accounting and Finance (e.g., ACCA, ACA, CIMA) are required.

Data Analytics: Excellent analytical skills, particularly in financial and operational data analysis.

Problem-Solving Skills: A high degree of resourcefulness and ingenuity to tackle complex financial challenges.

Financial Knowledge: Strong knowledge of financial and accounting principles, including business planning, management accountancy, and financial analysis.
