Job Description:
As a Financial Analyst at Tomato Jos, you'll play a vital role in assessing our financial performance and operational metrics. Your responsibilities include:
- Generating detailed reports on financial performance and operational trends.
- Developing multi-year financial models, annual budgets, and cash forecasts to guide management decisions.
- Conducting market research, data analysis, and business intelligence activities.
- Collaborating closely with the accounting team to ensure accurate financial reporting.
- Supporting fundraising efforts by providing necessary financial information to potential investors.
- Overseeing the implementation of financial forecasts and monitoring performance against plans.
- Streamlining reporting processes through the development of automated tools and tracking templates.
- Analyzing production costs, identifying inefficiencies, and recommending improvement measures.
Requirements and Skills:
- Bachelor's Degree in Finance, Economics, Accounting, or related field.
- Professional certification such as CFA, ICAN, or ACCA is required.
- Strong analytical skills with attention to detail.
- Excellent communication and presentation abilities.
- Proficiency in financial statement analysis and interpretation.
- Familiarity with financial reporting software (e.g., Xero) and ERP systems.
- Minimum of 4 years of relevant experience.
- Business acumen and proficiency in advanced Excel and financial modeling techniques.
