Job Summary
Interswitch is seeking a competent Financial Analyst to support our Management team with in-depth analysis to drive business planning and performance management. The successful candidate will play a critical role in preparing budgets, analyzing performance, and providing reliable data for informed decision-making. We are looking for someone who is diligent, motivated, and organized, with a strong commitment to continuous improvement and exceeding expectations.
Key Responsibilities
- Budgeting and Financial Planning: Support the budgeting process for various departments and business units within the Group, analyze budget performance, and provide actionable recommendations for improvement.
- Performance Analysis: Conduct detailed analysis of the Group’s performance using both financial and non-financial performance indicators, identifying trends and opportunities for growth.
- Reporting: Prepare monthly management reports and ad-hoc reporting packs as requested by relevant stakeholders, ensuring accuracy and timeliness.
- Financial Modeling: Develop and maintain financial models that forecast the Company’s growth and profitability plans, providing insights that support strategic decision-making.
- Cross-functional Collaboration: Work closely with cross-functional teams, including Finance Business Partners across the Group, to collaborate on metrics, goals, and business reviews.
- Risk Management: Identify and escalate key risk issues that may impact the achievement of the Company’s strategic objectives, providing recommendations for mitigation.
- Profitability Analysis: Conduct profitability analysis of different operating segments within the business, providing insights to support business optimization.
- Dashboard Development: Build and maintain robust financial dashboards that offer deeper insights into the Company’s performance, enabling data-driven decisions.
- Performance Monitoring: Regularly monitor performance across the Group, including the review of monthly operating results, to ensure alignment with strategic goals.
- Additional Duties: Perform any other tasks that may be assigned by the Chief Financial Officer, contributing to the overall success of the Finance team.
Requirements

Educational Qualification:
- Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting, Economics, Finance, Engineering, Mathematics, or Statistics.

Professional Qualifications:
- Professional certifications such as ACCA, ICAN, or CFA will be an added advantage.

Experience:
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in a similar role, preferably within a Big 4 firm, financial institution, or consulting firm.
